Halo on PC anyone?

I'm really an Xbox gamer, but was wondering if anyone plays Halo (2 or 3?) on their PC and what their experience is. Is it just as action-packed as using a controller with an Xbox? Or, do you use a control with it on the PC?

Also, do you have to pay monthly to play Halo online like you do on Xbox Live, or do you just buy the software one time and can play online against other Halo PC gamers indefinitely?

I would never pay to play Halo on PC for online purposes

I heard you need vista for Halo 1 and 2 maybe

you should just stick to Halo on the Xbox 360 microsoft put in some stupid things for the PC version of Halo

yeah, Halo 2 needs Vista to work, and Halo is really meant for the Xbox not PC, I never get Halo, I don't know what Halo is anyway, I hope I'm not missing too much

Halo was fun but it feels dated now.

If you ever play Halo 3 you'll always get some kid who just had electroshock therapy and he's so angry he would strangle pots and pans to death. its actually quite hilarious.
