Re: Prime Gaming Laptop
Screens look sweet but I personally think they would get annoying.
I hate using touchpads on keyboards and that extension to the right of the keyboard is in the way of where the mouse would be. Also, I didn't see specs listed on that site, but you would need a pretty decent GPU to power Crysis at a high enough resolution to cover all three screens without blurring. |

Re: Prime Gaming Laptop
Looks very nice, but what about the specs? Laptops are not very good at handling games, because they just don't have room for the high-end components, and they'd get too hot even if they could fit them.

Re: Prime Gaming Laptop
Some good points, but laptops are slowly getting there i.m.h.o.
Maybe by the time that OLEDS are actually commonplace, the current problems will be close to sorted out. Imagine the possibilities with 3 screens. Map open one side, inventory etc on the other. |

Re: Prime Gaming Laptop
Lol.
The funny thing is. In a year, that laptop will be 'so last year'. But we won't. Because we can upgrade. *pokes tongue* Anyway, you can always just hook up just as many screens to your PC. "Map open one side, inventory etc on the other." I virtually do this now. With SupCom I have a second monitor used as a massive minimap. With Titan Quest I have a program that I use to store all my items on the second monitor. With X3 I have two monitors, each monitor is split up into about 4 different views to display different things. With L4D I use my second monitor for Music, Ventrilo and Chat. It would be interesting to see some specs on the laptop though. |
