Crysis: WarHead

EA AND CRYTEK ANNOUNCE DEVELOPMENT OF CRYSIS WARHEAD

The Next Installment of One of the Highest Rated Games of 2007 Blasts its way onto PCs this Fall

Maximum freedom, maximum explosions and maximum Psycho! Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) and award-winning independent studio Crytek today announced Crysis Warhead® – the parallel story to Crysis, one of the most critically-acclaimed first person shooters and PC games of 2007. Shipping exclusively for the PC this fall, Crysis Warhead is the first title to be developed at Crytek´s Budapest studio, and is built on a new, enhanced and optimized version of Crytek’s CryENGINE® 2 technology. More....

Sounds interesting.. And yet another way for EA to scam more money off of us.. Lol

Re: Crysis: WarHead

Let's just hope the gameplay is better than in Crysis. The graphics detail was amazing, but the gameplay just didn't strike me as fun, and fun is what I play games for...

Re: Crysis: WarHead

Well thats what they are saying, more explosions and battles ect... I just hope the price is not the same as Crysis as its only a mini series. They are working on and planning Crysis 2 and 3.

Re: Crysis: WarHead

but it's not that realistic. I prefer ArmA as it gives a huge degree of freedom with a large 400km^2 map, and with tons of cars, trucks, and planes. it's so detailed; the church bells ring every hour, constellations are real, bullets take time to reach your target and fall as they go farther, snipers aren't 100% accurate, and you see far-away explosions before you hear them.
