Is the PSP worth the money ?

Yeah ,I was looking to buy one .But I have to ask is it worth the couple of hundred bucks .Are the games good enough ??

Get a big enough memory stick and turn it into a Music Video player. Its also fun to connect to the PS3 so you can play PS1 games on the PSP, thats a lot of P's

I vowed to wait for a handheld with as much processing power as a PS3. Then it would be worth buying.

Gonna be a while. Portability and power don't always work properly when combined.

two words. Silicon Germanium.
It was developed years ago for Mobile Phones and the like. Now they are running them at over 350Ghz at room temp and 500Ghz in cryo conditions. They dont cont any more to produce than the standard silicon in our modern CPUs but they can handle much higher frequencies at similar/lower power levels. All they need now is a decent fsb to go with it!!!

Is it cheap? Is it practical? A PSP has roughly the power of a PS2 which is understandable now. Cramming the power of a PS3 into something the same size will be a long way off.
