Need for speed no longer Underground

It seems that EA games wanted to break off from the "Underground" theme and make their newest game (Need for speed: ProStreet) a game that has a form of "legal" racing versus the "illegal" racing portrayed in the last 4 releases of the game.

So I'm basically wondering how other people who played the "underground" series likes this change in pace for this game.

hate it. Underground was what made it fun. running from cops is what made me want to play it.

I only played the first game in the underground series, and I completely hated it. My main gripe was the fact that all of the races took place within cities, and all at night! One of my favorite NFS elements was the breathtaking panoramic view, so I can def. say that I'll be happy to see it return.

I'm also hate Underground series,
NFS 2, NFS 4, NFS Mostwanted are the best for me !

Personally, i really enjoyed the underground aspects of the game. Being able to wreck a Police cruiser thats chasing you was half the fun. If they do away with that part of the game, what exactly is going to be the "Hook" to keep people playing?

Need for speed: ProStreet will just be another racing game your eyes browse past on the shelf

they are taking out everything that has made the series what it is (i think anyway)
