Fable: The Lost Chapters - Question!
I want to play as a mage & realised that mage robes/armour provide less armour than platemail etc & wondered whether or not there was an advantage (to a mage) of wearing specific mage armour as opposed to wearing melee platemail armour.
For example, does wearing mage armour increase your mana or does it not give any extra bonuses whatsoever to a mage? If so, what is the point of mage armour, why don't mages just wear melee armour which proves more protection? Thanks. |

Re: Fable: The Lost Chapters - Question!
I think some mage armors give you resistance to certain things, i'm sure there are descriptions for the items displaying what properties they have

Re: Fable: The Lost Chapters - Question!
Mages always have light armor, because th eheavy armor impedes their ability to cast spells, some games allow magic classes to use heavy armor but gives them like -40%spell dmg or 2x cast time, which in battle can easily kill you. The mage isn't exactly a good class for Fable IMO becaus emages, like rangers and healers are often "Secondary" classes, meaning they often travel with a Warrior or Thief class to protect them and in return they offer ranged spell attacks and buffs...
