Several Questions About Fable: The Lost Chapters!
I purchased Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) earlier today and I have a few questions I'd appreciate being answered so here goes:
1) What is Renown & what does it do/how can it benefit you? By getting it up does it raise your "good" personality? 2) I still have my original clothes the Guild gave me to wear & it says that they have value which I assume means that I can sell them. The thing is, I can't find anybody to buy them so is it possible to sell them? 3) Is there a weight limit to what your character can carry? 4) Is it possible to drop items & if so, how? 5) At the start I heard about potions that can permanently raise your stats. How can I tell the difference between one of these such potions & a normal potion that will only benefit me temporarily? 6) What is the point of style cards as I went to the barber with my 3 hair style cards thinking I'd only be able to choose from the 3 cards I had on me, but I was actually able to choose many more so as I said, what is the point of them? 7) And finally, does the type of food you eat have any affect on your body be it positive or negative (fat/muscle etc)? Thank you very much & I hope that somebody can help me answer these questions as they'd make the game much easier to understand. |

Re: Several Questions About Fable: The Lost Chapters!
1. I can't remember well, but I think Renown is how much people know/remember you and how famous you are or how feared you are.
2. You can find various merchants or shop owners, for example in bowerstone, there is a merchent on your left as soon as you enter, if you walk around you will find a blacksmith and there may even be an armorer if i can remember. 3. I think you can carry as much as you wish. Or there may be a storage limit, I can't remember well. 4. I think you can drop items, you may have to right click them in the inventory and drop, or just sell them. 5. There are a number of potions that raise your stats, when you read the description it should tell you, but they are very large and quite expensive. If it's called an Elexir it will increase your stamina (blue) or health (red/pink), and any potion called "Ages of ..." will increase your stats experience, so really, as soon as you get these potions, drink them i guess. This website will help you further with that: http://www.gamebanshee.com/fable/equipment/potions.php 6. Style cards are basicly worthless, they just allow you to discover to styles, there are already a number of styles a barber or tatooist have, though with these newly founds style cards it means that you can purchase that sort of style. For example the monkey tatoo can only be achieved in a quest and so once you get it, you can wear it. But not without the style card. 7. I think food gives you yourhealth and makes you fatter, but apart from that I don't think it does anything else. Though certain things like "moonfish" can turn day into night and "golden carrots" turn night into day. You will have to read the descriptions of the items.
