Re: ufo afterlight

If you get no replies here from people who have played the game, see these reviews (or google ufo afterlight review)

Re: ufo afterlight

I have been playing it, and I love it. Best tactical alien-fighting game I've played since X-Com1. The only bad thing, is that certain missions really hike the difficulty up suddenly. I like it, because I like challenge. I guess it makes the game feel more real.

To which game are you referring? Afterlight is not part of the X-Com series. It only borrows some ideas from it.

Re: ufo afterlight

Personally I'm somewhat in agreement with mephistophilus. I loved Terror from the Deep, but after trying UFO: Aftershock (before Afterlight), it definitely had lost its unique flare. Perhaps Afterlight is different and infact much better than Aftershock, however I must say it would have to be a significant jump for this old X-COMer.
