what to choice

Good day all of you. I am looking to buy for my kid a PSP, and I have no idea how I do have to choice it. What is mean the PSP 1001k, PSP 1000 G1 ETC…and the firmware 1.50 or firmware 3.50, what it will be the best?

The firmware is a software update as far as I know, meaning that even if you by the 1.5, it can be updated to 3.5 without much hassle. I may be wrong about this so I'd wait for contradiction or confirmation.

how it can be updated if it is the case.?

Via the internet.

If it's similar to the PS3, they came out with version 1.0 Firmware, now they're at 1.82 I think (I haven't checked lately) but yeah, it's not big deal.

You have to connect to the internet and upgrade to firmware 3.5, however, the latest games come with firmware updates as well I think.
