Xbox Live charging for cheats / tutorials

So what is everyones opinion on this? Lately EA is starting to charge for things like a tutorial in Madden. Now they want to charge for cheats in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07.

The prices are as follows:

Unlock golfers: 200 points ($2,50)
Own everything in the pro shop: 300 points ($3,75)
Maxed out player: 200 points ($2,50)
Sunday Tiger: 240 points ($3,00)
Unlock courses: 200 points ($2,50)

What will they be charging for next I wonder? Will people let them get away with this you think?

The rules are you cannot charge for something that is already in the game, but EA is going around this by allowing you to unlock those cheats in game, or paying for them.

People need to take the "blood from a stone" approach and just boycott micro transactions. I really don't mind buying expansion packs, but this micro stuff is too much.

That's just plain silly. Next they'll release games where you get a message just as you're about to kill the last boss, saying, "To finish this game, please purchase the endgame sequence."

That'd turn me off of gaming forever. But it makes me think of some shareware titles from the early days...
