Is the Counter-Strike series the #1 online action game in the world?

is the cs series the #1 online action game in the world? that's what it said on the cs:s and cs game case when i bought them....what do u think true or not true?

I don't know whether that's true or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Depends on how you define 'Action' and what your basing it off. I'd say it would be based off player base. In that case i would imagine the CS series to win in that regard, but if you view games like World of Warcraft as an action game (in some ways it is), then WOW would win. Not that i am a big player of either game, but it depends on how they define it.

cs is definatly the #1 played FPS in the world next to bf2 i believe. xfire has some stats but those are irrelevant cause most CS players dont use xfire.
