Amazing - you have such a nice gaming rig yet you use a generic keyboard and mouse? Sacrilege! Get a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard and a G5 Laser Mouse.
My (pitiful) gaming rig is listed in My System specs below my avatar. That is what happens when you go on a console shopping spree... and lose. |

I think you mean Terabyte. :p
My rig is listed below. I'm currently building a new one which will sport the following... MSI K8N Diamond Plus AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2GB PC3200 dual-channel SoundBlaster Audigy SE A few hundred gigs of HDD space Stuck between getting a 7900GT NOW or waiting for the 8800's to become affordable.

Re: What's Your Gaming Rig?
Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 ghz WinXP Home I Gig Dual Channel DDR2 512 MB Nvidia 8300GS 320GB Serial ATA HD Dell 19 in 1 Media Card Reader 16xDVD+/-RW Dr. 20" HP CRT Monitor Not necessarily a "gaming rig", as I got this primarily for the business after my old HP crashed. But at least I can do more than "occasional gaming" and any new games this rig is perfectly capable of running without any problems. At least I can swap out the Nvidia 8300GS for a better "gaming card" later. Add another gig of RAM too, if needed. |

Either way lets get down to business here on what I do I do video/music editing, so I of course have a fair sure of my own videos and music. You ever seen a uncompressed avi file? They get big, I mean I gotta downsize a few of mine which are 700-2 GIGs for only a few minutes of video. Now lets get down to numbers My "install" programs alone round out to about 200 GIGs, so thats already nearly 13% of my space I got another 40 gigs of music this is another 2.5%. Now since I do video editing a lot I have a lot of "stock footage" which I use to splice us to add a bit of touch to my videos. Along with my movies this easily ammounts to another 500-600 GIGs. So thats another 38% of my storage space. Then I download a lot and I download RARs, I keep roughly on my HDD 200 gigs or so of RARs so thats 12% alone. Although that is only roughly 65% of my storage space I like to leave 10% free on my HDDs because I need room to defrag. So thats 75% so in actual data I have a bit over a TB, and I add onto this daily/weekly/monthly etc. Video files, music files, games and programs can take up a large ammount of space. And nowadays with storage so cheap why delete or use DVDs etc? |

I have about 700gbs in total, 200gb of backup DVDs to stream across the network instead of ppl fighting for them, 100gb of games apps ect (i also like to keep everything i download just incase i need it again). Then the rest is backup. I have about 200gb free space. So im running out of space fast.
