With high development costs, a lack of hit games, the UMD movie format, its poor E3 performances, and the competition it faces from the formidable DS Lite, What do you think is the PSP on its last leg?

I still like how the PSP functions and all, but I agree with the fact that they're not making enough hit games to play!

just too expensive. they should have made it cheaper like the ds. My opinion is nintendo will reclaim the game market this christmas.

Problem with PSP, they dont know gaming like most may think.

All they do is put out a system, your 2nd and 3rd party developers put the games on it, PS2-3 and PSP is like this. Obviously they dont know nothing about gaming, the Sony made games they did make was mostly a joke, I think the only exception was Dark Cloud which was seemingly good and had chance to become a staple but they never took advantage of it. Not to mention they making alot things thats just not meant to be, PSP is about everything but a gaming system, PS3 is heading in that direction, 360 I dunno wtf to think about this system until later on and when Halo 3 hits.

But I think when it comes to Sony Computer Entertainment. consoles, gaming, all that stuff, i think its just one huge accident thats bought them some fame. I could easily go into detail about the whole PS2 thing and why it sold, and it surly aint for FF, MGS3, all of those games like that either.

I have had two PSP's i hate them, they are not worth the money. They brake and get viruses like a sickly child and dont last long mine right now wont spin the UMD disk any more.. its driving me isane!! but.. i love it... but i hate it!!.. but.. i love it..

I finally bought one so I could get Final Fantasy I & II and Crisis Core.

hey i say go for it! they may suck in so many ways.. but they also rock so hard! but if you do get one! a good game is teken and.. daxter is fun but thats bout it, and crisis core my brother just got it and loves it what kinds of games are you in to ?

I do want a PSP purely for Crisis Core, i wouldn't mind getting a GTA title for it too so i can play that on buses and trains.

But alas i cannot afford one.

haha i know how you feel mister dxj, i wish they would go down in price so i could just replace mine, i have gta liberty and vice, they are both pretty sweet on there and its great for more than one player at a time! its great!

Crisis Core is AWESOME. Too bad my room mate is always using my PSP to play the game I bought.
