A Makeover for PC Games
The IEMA recommends -- yes! -- DVD boxes as standard for PC titles.
Thank goodness for careful packaging. If it weren't for color coding, I'd be picking up powdery peppermint Orbit gum (navy blue) when my mouth demands spearmint (sensible green) -- or requesting a Senior Slam when I sit down at IHOP. Embarrassing! Sometimes it's proper to think inside the box. Or at least, about the box. Linky |

about time...I was wondering who made the decision to switch from the huge boxes to the "mini boxes"
Now it is more important than ever with games being ported to different systems (e.g. bf2 is available on xbox360 and pc). There's nothing worse than going to bestbuy and accidently being a dvd-rom instead of a standard cd...then you can't return it because it's been opened.

Why don't you just look at the back where it says "DVD-ROM" or CD-ROM?
Sounds pretty simple to me...?

Well it only happened to me once...then I realized what I had done, and I never made that mistake again. Regardless, now I don't have to flip the box over and search for either: PC-DVD, Xbox, PC-CD, et al
