Compare PSP and NDS

Sony and Nintendo are two great game aristocratic families. They are competing between PSP and NDS. What do you think about NDS? Do you like PSP?

Having played both I have likes and dislikes for each.

PSP. I like Sony. They make good gaming systems, and sometimes, good games. But the PSP did not impress me as a gaming system. It was marketed as a Jack of all trades machine that came with a poor screen and always falls apart. Most of the people I know who own them use them to emulate old NES games.

DS. Nintendo is the first company I came to love. I've been gaming on Nintendo products since age 8 and have owned almost every system they've made (US versions). My experience with DS is limited but it's innovative, which means more to me than graphics and memory card slots. The fact that it's nearly $100 cheaper also helps out.

I agree with ebackhus here as well. I think Sony made a mistake in that they tried to make the PSP a Portable media player first, and a handheld console second.
