I don't really see much to set it apart from other RTS games, other than the franchise. But maybe I'm not as much as a LOTR geek as some :1-grin:

This Game is GREAT, it is really good, the first one is great aswell

It's a good game. I used to play it a lot, especially at LAN's, the units are well balanced, there are some cool powers, the heroes are useful and the maps are big. It's just an all-round good game.
(Oh, and the graphics are pretty...)
However, since i've installed Supreme Commander, I haven't played a single other game for about 2 weeks now.

I am playing this at the moment, totally enjoyable, and not to tough for an amateur RTS fan like myself. Its filling the gap until C&C3 is out.

good game. i played battle for middle earth 1 a lot but 2 is even better. mostly if you are a lotr fan

I love the way you can make you own heroes, and the war of the ring campaign is great, i am risk fan and it just mad it GREAT!!

It is a good game, as soon as it works >.< i played it at a friends house so it is most probably my own computer which is messing things up but ok
