Psp

Does anyone here have a PSP? I've been thinking of picking one up, but am not sure if its worth it. I know the PSP can pplay movies, games, and has access to the internet.

Do you want it for the games or the movies primarily?

My friend bought one a while back. He used it for a bit, but it's been sitting on his table for about a month now, unused.

well it's a good little device I suppose, but the DS has funner games. Another draw back is that the movies for the PSP will get very expensive.

Think about how many times you watch a movie and then imagine spending $17.00 bucks per UMD; it's an investment if you want to play movies on it, you better have a steady disposable income to keep a movie habit going on that thing. Personally I'm waiting out for this,

You're right Yggdrasil, I have yet to see a touch screen that you actually touch the screen of. Usually you'll be using a plastic pencil looking thing when dealing with touch screens.

But why would you care about this thing when the v43 is coming out in a month or so?

*TV out(NTSC/PAL)
*SPDIF output, AC3, DTS 5.1 playable

EDIT- (Expect models with higher storage capacities to be released soon now that Toshiba has finished development of it's perpendicular drives)

and it's Linux based so it will have a huge modder community that will constantly add features to it. In comparison the the video Ipod it's like what FireFox is to IE

(this is not primarily a video game device, but it does a hell of a good job as an emulator.)
