No word on PS3at CES

The CES conference heralded no new information on the PS3. Sony has scheduled another event set for February, but the details for it are sketchy. With the revolution making major announcements and the 360 expanding it's game lineup one has to wonder how much longer Sony can stay tight lipped about it's consul which has yet to be seen in any form other than an empty grill shaped box.

They kinda hyped it all up, then told everyone to stop talking about it till the release (yeah, right)

I'm hoping we'll see something more than vaporware soon though, it'd be nice.

The people at Sony are a lot more tight lipped about things than the other companies.

In my estimation this either mean they're having problems with the consul, there is nothing special about the consul yet, or they are good at keeping quiet.

They are supposed to release in Japan this Summer and the US market the end of this year...

I read somewhere that they are releasing their at about the same time as the Revolution....

most likely. If they do, and the PS3 is $600, and the Revolution is $200, then the Rev will kill the PS3.

Think about it, you're a present and you see two consuls, one it $400 cheaper, which will you buy? Now if only they could get these kids today to understand that fun games are better than pretty ones.

I doubt the PS2 is going to be 600 dollars. You'd have to be stupid to put out a 600 dollar console

Indie blu ray drives are selling for $1000 bucks.

What did DVD players cost when PS2 came out? like 200 maybe?

If they come out at the same time and the price is that much of a different, I would definitely get the Rev. The money that I saved, i could buy a bunch of games for it...

I hope come out with it soon Ive wanted to see, and play it I herd It sort of looks likes the Xbox360 but thats just talk. but I relly wont one so what is going to happen to ps1, and the ps2. so are they going to cost? Im sorry but wat is the rev, and blu ray? I dont think they are haveing problems.that my opion:4-smoking

Revolution is Nintendo's consul and blu ray is a Next Gen DVD format.

I don't really like the Spidey font though. That looks kinda lame. Other than that, it looks pretty cool.
