Problems installing Unreal Tournament III

Hey guys,

I just bought Unreal Tournament III for my PC. I'm currently using Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 6000 with very very little installed on it. The installation process went smoothly until I clicked on the desktop icon to play. The loading screen stuck for about 60 seconds, and then a message comes up that says:

"UT3.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. [Send Error Report] [Don't Send]"

Do I need to install a patch or something? Any help is appreciated.

Please tell us the specs of your system, tell us your:
RAM
VideoCard
Operating System
Power Supply Unit
Motherboard

It is likely that it won't run because your system does not meet the minimum requrements to play the game.
