Caq Renegade instalation problem

When i go to install renegade it got to 79% and then just stops and after a while a setup error comes up and says that is there a disk in the drive? i took it to game and got it repaired and no change please someone help thx.

Hello. Welcome to TSF.

Firstly where did you obtain the disc? Check to make sure there is no damage on it and check that it isn't dirty etc.

Can you describe what the disc ohysically looks like? Is it just a blank DVD?

no its the proper install disk and play one, the install one is green and silver with the title and disk 1 and stuff on it and the other one is red and silver with the same stuff on it.

Ok.

Download RevoUninstaller, completely uninstall the game, restart your computer and then try installing it again.

Its not in the selection of games to uninstall probably because it couldnt install

Sounds like your disk is scratched or you need a new DVD-drive. Do you have any other cd's/dvd's you could test in your dvd drive to see if your dvd drive works?

no theres nothing wrong with the drive because i have installed other games fine so im not sure ill probably have to buy a new one and try that.

i can play the game if i go into the folders and seclect the game but i cant play it online it installs but not fully and i can still play the game thats wierd?
