Instaling Bioshock

Anyone please help!!!
I recently bought Bioshock, & when installing, it comes to a point were it says installing latest patch, whilst installing the latest patch, it give me an error, downloading latest patch, corrupted files exc. Exc. Exc.

Can it be because I am using my Phone as a modem & the line is not strong enough?
Have not yet trite an internet line which is faster & stronger

Hello and welcome to TSF,
it's been a long time since I last installed Bioshock, but try to disconnect from the internet and try the installation again, and then download the patch manually from here

How are you using a phone as a modem? Do you mean a dialup landline or a cell phone?

Rockmaster: if your internet line is not on, it does not want to start the install setup. it says could not install due to internet not located
I dont even get to the point were i can put in my cd key?
