Problems with Warcraft 3 ROC installation. Vista home premium x64
Ok, I've been looking around the good old interwebs for a fix for this but i couldn't find anything that worked so i'm hoping someone here can help =3
This is for my cousins studio 15 dell laptop btw, Warcraft 3 installed fine for me on Windows 7 32-bit for reference :P With him its a diffrent story. Hes running Vista home premium x64 and right after clicking the install it comes up with a message basically telling him it its not compatiable with his windows version and asks him to check if its 32 or 64 bit. But checking google there seems to be no problem with anyone else installing it on x64 systems. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks :D |

I don't know if this may work for you but it worked for me. Turn off USER ACCOUNT CONTROL. I think this may block some files within the warcraft cd from being extracted and installed. Good luck with that.
