[SOLVED] Sky Defender problem

I downloaded Sky Defender on my pc. When I click on the icon to open it, I initially get a white screen, then a black screen and a window comes up : "Resolution not supported?" I click ok and it boots me out of the game. When you initially go thru the installation, youcome to a page that asks you what type of monitor you have. I installed this game with both choices - a standard monitor and a widescreen monitor (which I have). Both times I get the page w/ the resolution screen. Any suggestions? Thanx!

Hi Rock! Thanx for reading my post. I downloaded it from a CD I bought on Amazon.com. The company's website is Galactics.com.
