Help update installer dont work! No.2!

Help i have the correct installer of avp2 mp demo called "avp2mpdemo_update.exe" and it said "Setup has finished installing Aliens vs. Predator 2 Multiplayer Demo update on your computer" please any ideas why can't i still play in multiplayer in the game?

oh =( but i still can join a server when some player's firewall is off in gamespy arcade =) but it's rarely seen to have someone's firewall is off while playing the multiplayer >.<
