Can't install Sims 2

Hi I am new and I am not sure if this is right but I have SIMS 2 and I have an os of xp and I was have a problem with installing it...I can't seem to get past disk one. It goes to insert disk 2 and keeps saying it but its running..If anyone can please help me I have been trying everything I can think of for months now. Please help me out Thank you...

Hi SimsTrouble and welcome to TSF,

First make sure that all disks are clean and free of any finger prints or dust and then try again.
