Gears of WAR!

I just bought gears of war 1. yeah i know a little late but ok...
ive been messing with the controls and the system on my computer for a while but it can't install gears of war for some reason.
it would install halfway then it just stops working and doesn't open a window for me to input the cd key in or information.

help on maybe how to change my systems settings so that it would allow me too install?
all of my system specs are good.

My System

Grin Re: Gears of WAR!

We need more information. Your complete system specs and a specific error message would help.

4. Check to make sure you don't have anything running in the background. Some common background problem-causers are: downloading, wireless network connection, internet connection, instant messaging, and antivirus scanning. There are many others, but these are the most common. You can check your running applications and processes in the Task Manager, by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. Have a look at what's there, and end any tasks which aren't required. Also check the system tray (right hand side of the taskbar), and close any programs which aren't absolutely necessary.
Please go here and follow all the steps to see if it is a common problem.
