PS2 compaible games
im having a problem loading up a Platinum game onto my console....any suggestions as to why there is a problem!!?

Welcome to TSF!
Are you referring to a silver disc? While there are rumors that PS2's have problems reading certian colors I can tell you that it's simply not true. Try cleaning the lens with a commercial lens cleaner and see if it helps.
