psp 200 wont turn on

i have recently bought a psp2000 and my friend put custome firmware on it for me and it was working really good until i went on a trip when i got back it wouldnt turn on so i charged but when i plugged it in the red light didn't turn on so the green light and the red light wont turn on and really miss it its been like this for a couple months please help.

If it's custom firmware, hold down the R shoulder button while you turn it on, that will bring it to the recovery screen. I'm not exactly sure what you'll have to do to fix it, but look around this site: [removed]. I kinda fell out of the scene, but that's where I used to go for all custom firmware related info. If your PSP won't even boot up into the recovery mode, then I don't know what to tell you. You might have better luck asking on their forum.

I just remembered, I put custom firmware on my friends PSP 2000 as well, and after a couple weeks the battery died. He bought a new one and all was well again.

TSF can not help you with your problem because you are running custom Firmware.
In many cases custom firmware can turn a PSP into an expensive Paperweight which is what has happened in your case.
If it no longer turns on, it never will again you will have to buy a new one.
