Xbox 360 - Lost Memory?

These evening, I went to install my Oblivion onto my Hard Drive to reduce the noise the fan makes and failed to have the 6.7 gigs on my 20 gig hard drive. I figured, "Okay, I just have to delete the installed Fable II from the hard drive." I go to my memory and find that only 265.5 MBs are actually being used on my 360 from a combination of my games folder, Gamer profiles folder, yada yada. I go to my music and video folder and clear them out and still only have 6.1 Gigs remaining out of a total capacity of 13.9. I SHOULD have 13.6. What's going on and how do I fix it?

System files plus the interface also use that space. Is there anything you can possibly move to a memory card?

Re: Xbox 360 - Lost Memory?

Yeah but the system files and interface are stacked into the 6.1 gigs that isnt in my capacity. Nothing I can use as a memory card unless I can somehow figure out if it's possible to move files to my computer via xbox live's ethernet cable. But what work I have I'm not TOO afraid to lose. The only thing I'd REALLY be losing is my gamer profiles and that' I'd like to avoid.
