Xbox 360 video randomly gets darker

Hi,

When I have my xbox 360 hooked up and switched to HD, Ill be playing the game for a while and it will randomly go dark. The screen doesn't go blank, but everything just gets a lot darker.

When I unplug the video cable in the back of my xbox then replug it back in it gets better but happens again a while later.

My xbox is 3 years old and has already been repaired once.

Anyone else have this problem??

Hi.

It is likely that your system could be overheating, ensure it is in a well-ventilated area. Also ensure that all the cables are not damaged in any way and are securely in-place.
