Ps3 HElp!

hey. I have a ps3 and the warranty just ran out. Now my ps3 wont play games. When I insert a game they main ps3 menu appears, but there is no disk icon to play the game. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a different media? You can turn in your PS3 for fixing for $150 at Sony if you're willing.

You can try a small can of compressed air to temporarily clean the lens just to see if it was a dirty lens. But if you do that, dust and particles will just move to the back of the blue-ray enclosure.
Try a can of compressed air first, and if it doesn't work then do what GoSuni suggested. But if you don't want to shell out $150 there are methods of cleaning it out while voiding warranty stickers.
