[SOLVED] Charging Sixaxis

Can the PS3 Sixaxis controller be charged using a PSP charger? The connection is exactly the same. Ive searched the net but did not find any answers.

Re: Charging Sixaxis

What kind of PSP charger? The electric socket version or the USB to miniUSB? If it is the USB to miniUSB, it should work since I doubt there isn't any difference.

Re: Charging Sixaxis

Sorry, should have made myself a bit clearer.

Its the socket version that I'm interested in, its a pain having to keep my PS3 on to charge the controller.

Re: Charging Sixaxis

If the connections are exactly the same then you can probably do it, it won't hurt to try, it's like the iPhone charger is compatible with the iPod charger and vice versa.

Re: Charging Sixaxis

Decided to try it, and its working. I was a bit unsure in case it would damage the conroller, but its ok. Thanks.
