Psp freezing and shutting down!

Hi i'm new here.. And i need help.. Hope someone can help me..
Well i got a psp from ebay.. The psp turns and boots normal but after a few minutes it freezes and then shuts off.. Some times it can get into the game and after a few minutes on the game it just freezes and shuts down.. Now i have seen the recovery menu options i have tried and no recovery menu for me it just boots normal to the main menu.. So i dont know what to do.. When i got it from ebay the psp wont even boot.. It would stay on for a milisecond and then shut off.. I found the problem in the ac plug.. Adjust it and work.. Now if i put the battery in it would boot.. But if i just plug the ac adapter and no battery it would turn on for 2 seconds and then shuts off no boot either.. So i'm lost here any help would be great

Re: Psp freezing and shutting down!

The battery is necessary for it to boot properly.

Re: Psp freezing and shutting down!

Did you buy it under "as-is" conditions from ebay? If not you can contest it and possibly get your money back.

Personally I don't advise buying something like that online unless it is is BRAND NEW.

Well if you bought it as-is then you're screwed as there is nothing you can do but try to give it to a repair shop.
