xbox 360 wired controller help

i currently have an xbox 360 wired controller, the official one. it keeps turning off when I play a game. it will reconnect in a second, but it is really annoying. Can someone help me with this problem?

I think the wire has internal damage this is a symptom of power loss to the controller.
can you try another controller?

Hello kid23455!

In addition to what techfix said, see if the wire is tangled, or if it loops around in circles. Sometimes this happens, and the connection from the controller to the console is interrupted.
