Xbox 360 wireless problems

so i got my son an Xbox 360. we were hooking up the wireless adapter for it and proceeded to join Xbox live. an error message tells us we are not connected to Xbox live and that we should test our connection.

we tested it and it only goes so far to tell us wireless internet isn't connected. which is strange because it recognizes our modem.

help is appreciated.

Re: Xbox 360 wireless problems

Hello The Simmons!

I would think your internet connection is secured, which would mean it has a specific password you need to enter in order to connect to the network? Do you have the password? If you haven't already entered it, you need to put in the code to connect to the network.
