xbox ip and port forwarding

My xbox is hooked up to my laptop running vista home premium sp1 and im using ics. I'd like to forward some ports the only problem is my xbox ip is 192.168.0.x and my router will only let me forward to 192.168.1.x addresses. So how do i make my xbox ip a 192.168.1.x?

It would be much simpler to connect the Xbox to the router, and bypass the ICS. What is the make and model of your router?

Well my router is downstairs in my office and my tv is upstiars. I fixed it though I forwarded the ports portforward.com told me to and I turned off ICS and bridge the LAN and the wireless connection and it works real well.
