Gears of War crashes my 360

I bought a used Gears of War a while back and played up until the beginning part of Act II. You are supposed to make Jack rip open a door to proceed but the game wouldnt trigger the cut scene to do it. Or sometimes the door would be already open and just black unloaded whatever would be on the other side. So I returned the game, deleted everything saved on my 360.

Months later I bought GOW brand new and I am having the same exact problem. It works just fine on my friends 360. What is going on? My 360 is brand new and all other games play just fine on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, welcome to TSF.

Are you sure you have the latest Firmware updates?

Try clearing the cache.

Also try using a different HDD.
