PS3 Turns on for 10 sec's then Shuts off on its own

Hello.. i havnt owned my ps3 that long and didnt play it much but now when I turn it on the blue and green light start and stay on for about 10 seconds the its shuts off on its own and the red light start blinking.... I tried chaning the power cord.. what could the problem be??

Hello and welcome to TSF.

Sounds like a failing Hard Drive or power supply, you should take it back and get a new one.

It's a voltage problem.

Did you buy it from a country with a different voltage rating?

Buy one of those voltage stabilizers to stabilize the voltage so that there is no fluctuation.

also make sure your power cable is firmly pushed in on both sides. Also try using a surge protector.
