gamefly or blockbuster

I currently have gamefly and it worked out pretty good, but blockbust seems good to which is better. I know gamefly is cheaper, but is it worth it

Hello and welcome to TSF
I'd go to Blockbuster for their service and library, you can even rent consoles.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

Gamefly is wayyy better than Blockbuster. Blockbuster rents movies, they also have a small game selection. Gamefly only rents games and has every game out. Big differences. Price IS way better, after using gf for a couple years now I swear by it. I don't even get movies from blockbuster anymore, I'm using Netflix.

Actually it's quite the opposite, Blockbuster has a large collection of games. No late fees either.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

At my local library they allow you to rent games for free, a bit scratched and not a huge selection but its something to keep in mind.I agree on what 5niper_wolf said, but if you break the console....@_@.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

That is awesome your library has games! very cool.

I have disagree about blockbuster, they suck here in the states. They've tried to up there game selection in a last ditch effort to survive, what 2-3 aisle for each console? Gamefly has something like 7,000 titles, literally every game out. I admit I used to rent from Blockbuster before I found gamefly but no more. It's really incomparable. Oh and Bb has "restocking fees" which are basically late fees with the name changed. No extra fees at all with gamefly and being able to keep the game for a good price and they send a mint box and manual is so cool. I'm afraid Blockbuster is stuck renting in the year 1996.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

Well in Canada, they have about 10 aisles of games for each console, there are no 'restocking fees' or anything.

There is another option, EB Games and Rogers, both with very very large selection of games.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

Blockbuster - if a game is out for rent your SOL
GF - basically guarantees your game.

Re: gamefly or blockbuster

Oh wow, Blockbuster is not so nice in the U.S. I've read about stores closing and possible bankruptcy. I stopped going because they never had the game I wanted and the price was like $9 a game. There are a couple other rental companies in the but most people now use netflix for movies and gamefly for games. Better price and selection, all online, no lines, no-late fess or "restocking fees", etc. etc.
