Nintendo DS Connection Issues

So I've been trying to trade over Wi-Fi on Pokemon Pearl. It connects fine with a full signal. Even the trade itself works but its at the very end I get the 'communication error' message. It doesn't even give an error code to look into.

So basically it has problems finishing up the trade. Anyone know anything about this?

Whats the encryption on the router for Wi Fi?

In Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, the following have been outlawed for trading:
- Shinies
- Legendaries
- Eggs (were never allowed in the first place)
- Hacks (the noticeable ones - ones with the wrong icons)

If you've traded for any of the above, it won't let you, it will give you an error.

Have you checked your firewall?
