Confused Help! Gamecube "The Sims"

Hello, I am completely new to this stuff and it's my daughter who plays. She has a Game cube system. We bought a game "The Sims", we put the game in and it reads "can't read disk..." so we reset it many many times, no luck, whiched to my brothers new game cube, same thing, bought another game, same thing! Yet all other games play fine. Is this an issue with Sims and game cube compatibility? What do we do? Plan English please were not techies!
Thank you

Re: Help! Gamecube "The Sims"

It's the disc, it's simply scratched or internally corrupted. Get your money back, eh.
