Oblivion/USB keyboard compatibility

Just wondering if the USB keyboard I got for FFXI will allow me to do things with the keyboard rather than the controller. i.e. Use the console commands

If you are talking about FFXI on the console, then there is no console to use, but it will allow you to use anything else.

If can plug into your USB device properly and you get all drivers (if any) for it, it WILL work. It's simply A USB cord with a PS2 controller on the end, right?

Also, what about the "console commands"?

Re: Oblivion/USB keyboard compatibility

I didn't make myself clear cause I figured the title would clear it up but I guess not. I bought the keyboard for FFXI, I want to know if I can use it for Oblivion. Both for the Xbox360. Oblivion has the console.

Yes, it will. Have you tried it? It's not like it's going to hurt anything..

Re: Oblivion/USB keyboard compatibility

I did try it, it's just not doing anything. I wasn't sure if I had to do anything particular to get it to work. But I know it works because I can chat on FFXI.

Re: Oblivion/USB keyboard compatibility

Look, Xbox 360 = No console to use, ever. PC = console to use.

Not all games are compatible with the keyboard, as the game was either not designed for it, or it won't work/is not needed.

So Oblivion is not likely to use a keyboard but FFIX is.
