Oblivion Blue Flash
So based on google searches, it apparently has acquired a lovely nickname of "Blue Screen of Death." Unfortunately, it's been happening to PC versions of the game, not the 360. This is the first time it's done it since I've gotten it but it only flashes. It's not like the whole screen goes blue and stays that way.
Any ideas how to fix it? |

Oblivion PC =/ Console Gaming Support
You're in the "Console Gaming Support" forum, take you're problem to the "PC Gaming Support" forum. Also, it's called a graphics card, yours can't take Oblivion.

Re: Oblivion Blue Flash
If you're talking about the 360 version;
Make sure your TV is connected properly. From my knowledge, the only way this can occur is if your connections aren't fully secured. Also, are you sure your character doesnt just have night vision on.

Re: Oblivion Blue Flash
Yes, Windy. It happens to the PC version. But right now, it's happening to the 360 version. I'm in the right forum and I'd appreciate you not posting in my topic unless you are going to provide helpful info on how I can get my Xbox 360 to quit pretending it's a PC.
Van, I reconnected my cables and what not and it SEEMS to have gone away. But it was a light blue, not unlike the shade of the quick reply box here. My character is new and doesn't have night vision yet, so I'm sure that's not it, plus it would flash to a perfectly clear screen whilst it was blue. |

Re: Oblivion Blue Flash
Hello sinangel
Can you post the make and model of your TV what cable your are using for connection. Does this happen with any other game on your 360? Where is your 360 located (it needs proper airflow) as its poorly designed for cooling. Ignore Undocked Windy's posts if they're making you angry Sinangel, it'll be better this way if nothing bad starts. |
