[SOLVED] xbox 360 sharing internet with laptop
I have a wireless router far away from my laptop, and 360 so I used an ethernet cable going from my laptop to my 360. It passed the connection test, and told me to update live so I accepted the update, and then I get a screen saying:"
Can't download the update. To test your connection, open system settingsand select network settings, test xbox live connection. Every time I test the live connection it goes to the update thing, and says can't download. Help is really appreciated.

Re: xbox 360 sharing internet with laptop
Hi, amdfanboy.
I'm very unaware of 360's and very not-likey Microsoft so please excuse what may be a stupid question: Does Microsoft by chance give out discs to put into your 360 to update instead of only via Internet? if so, the problem could just be a weird glitch for now. Has anyone else been having troubles with the latest updates? |

Re: xbox 360 sharing internet with laptop
not sure, but I just fixed it. I just decided to go to my account on the 360, and click join xbox live or something, and then it completed downloading the update. Thanks though.
