Can't connect my systems with the net

Alright, so we just got comcast internet, and it will connect me to the internet (Sorry for stating the obvious..) But when I plug it into my Xbox 360 or my PlayStation 3 it won't connect them to the internet, when I've tried it with the Playstation and do the network scan it shows that it can't even find a IP adress, and I'm sure the same goes for the Xbox. The modem box is a Touchstone Telephony Modem. Model: TM502G, its a ARRIS. Its a large black box with 8 lights. (Battery, Telephone 2, Telephone 1, Link, Online, Us, Ds, and Power.) All the lights are solid green, but the Link light is flashing green. I've already called customer support but they can't do anything since the person who has the comcast subscription in their name is out of town and I'd need their Social Security pin. Both systems connected to the internet before we obtained Comcast. I hope I have supplied enough information, thank you.

Re: Can't connect my systems with the net

most likely you're going to have just put in a manual IP address for the Xbox 360

and I'm guessing you're online with your computer and the internet works fine?

for a=manual input its something like this

ip address 192.168.1.120
defualt gateway adddress: 255.255.255.0
gateway address: 192.168.1.1

I think those are the 3 main ones you need to worry about
