Laptop automatically turns on after streaming video from other computer to Xbox 360
I have two computers, a desktop and a laptop. The laptop, when not in use, is unplugged from everything, including the network cable (no Wi-fi). Still, I've been noticing a weird pattern. After streaming a video from my desktop to my Xbox 360, the laptop turns on once the video ends. I may have tweaked some settings or something, but the laptop is not listed as a source in my Video library. Both PCs are Vista Premium with Media Center.
Thanks in advance for any help! |

Re: Laptop automatically turns on after streaming video from other computer to Xbox 3
Hi, splintersag. Welcome to TSF.
Hmm, I'm very unfamiliar with any of Microsoft's gaming consoles, but I'll give this one a try. So, if I'm gathering all the data correctly, when you get done streaming video from your desktop to your 360, what's happening is your laptop is turning on once the streaming video ends? Strange. Do you have to install any applications in your laptop/desktop to make streaming video to your 360 possible? Are there any cords related or is it all wireless?
