I need help now please cod 5 waw

i live on a college campus and use the ethernet connection to my PS3 and have been trying to play COD 5 WAW and when i go to the <Play online> it tells me at the bottom of the screen "downloading game settings" and never finishes downloading. it also for some reason shows me as a level 1 and im actually a level 55 so any suggestions?

It sounds to me like maybe your colleges firewalls are not passing your traffic thru. The rankings are compared at the infinityward servers against your predefined gamer tag. Is this the only game you are currently having issues with online play?

yeah this is the only game that it happens for. What should i do? i thought it was the firewall settings because it worked before then my school changed its provider.

you're going to have to talk to Tech support at your campus so you can get your 360 working again. They'll do their magic admin and get it working hopefully

heh a tech support referring to another tech support
