help new to this wireless stuff
i just went out and shelled 100 bucks for the xbox 360 wireless adapter to find out that i dont have wireless internet. Basically if i go out to radioshack and buy a wireless router will that fix my problem to convert my internet to wireless and [/u][/u]be able to use my wireless adapter???

yes. Once you have your wifi router up-and-running (dont forget to enter a password so people cant jup on the signal) plug in the wifi Adapter into the 360, then go to the setting screen on 360 and enter the password for you network.
also if u have a computer, you cound use the media centre so you can access you media from 360 |

thanks for the help. really happy I found this site. The media centre will allow me to view my computer media on my 360? if so does that mean I can watch videos and listen to songs from computer?

yes, using media center on your PC, you have to have at least Vista Home Premium. This will allow you to Stream Videos, view Pictures and Listen to songs from the Computer.
when you setup media center on the PC, you will be asked to select which folders are shared, put the media into these folders. and you will be able to access them from your Xbox. |
