Wii connecting to the internet problem
My son has a Wii machine and is having a prob connecting to the internet. We have a wireless setup at home with a netgear 834G router. The error code 52130 appears when we try to connect. I understand this is a firewall issue related to the router. I understand to get the Wii to work I would have to remove the firewall but dont want to do this. Is there another way of getting around this problem. Many thanks for any help offered. Graham

Re: Wii connecting to the internet problem
Hi, moorabin. Welcome to TSF.
Go to your firewall settings and allow your Wii to gain access. This option will not interfere with your current settings or leave you vulnerable to wireless hackers, it will simply let you gain internet access on your Wii through your current PC. Good luck. |
