No Audio on LCD Monitor - 360

I got this monitor recently mainly for pc gaming.. but I also want to use my 360 on it to. I'm using a HDMI to DVI cable (Hdmi in the 360 and DVI in the monitor) for my 360 on my monitor.. and the picture is perfect.. but I get no sound.. any idea why?

Hi Bryan332211.
The reason you are not getting any audio is because DVI does not carry audio signals, only video.
If I were you I wouldn't worry too much about the monitor speakers anyway, they are only 2W so they won't sound so great.

You could buy a vga cable for the xbox 360. That has the rca stereo cables on it. So you can hook your xbox up to a speaker system.

There is an adapter for the audio and you can get the audio to come out of your speakers for your computer. Its the 3rd on down
